What personal data we collect, why, and your rights

1. Who is responsible

The controller of your personal data is MOXIE SKINS LTD, Company number 16553071, Academy House, 11 Dunraven Place, Bridgend CF31 1JF, United Kingdom. For any privacy question or request, write to support@skinmeister.pro.

2. What we collect

This is everything SkinMeister collects about you, when and why:

What: Steam ID, Steam display name and avatar
When we collect it: Steam sign-in
Why: Creating your account and signing you in

What: Email address
When we collect it: Asked at your first purchase and confirmed with a code
Why: Receipts, order and delivery emails, answering you

What: Steam trade URL
When we collect it: Settings or checkout
Why: Delivering items to your Steam account

What: Card number, expiry date, security code, cardholder name and billing address
When we collect it: Card payment form (wallet top-up or checkout)
Why: Authorising the payment and checking the billing country. Card details are passed to the payment processor and not stored; we keep the last 4 digits, a transaction reference and any billing address you choose to save

What: IP address and the country it resolves to
When we collect it: Automatically, at sign-up and at payment
Why: Refusing new sign-ups from sanctioned countries; fraud prevention

What: Wallet balance, top-ups, orders and refunds
When we collect it: Using the shop
Why: Running your wallet, delivering orders, handling disputes, accounting

What: Photo of an identity document, proof of address, proof of payment
When we collect it: Verification upload, only if we ask you to verify your account

3. Why we may use it

To perform our contract with you: your account, orders, wallet, delivery and support.
To meet legal obligations: accounting records, sanctions and anti-money-laundering checks.
For our legitimate interests: preventing fraud and keeping the site secure.
With your consent: Analytics cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time under "Manage Cookies" in the footer.

4. Who we share it with

The payment processor that handles card payments (card details, billing address, amount, IP address).
The third-party CS2 market we buy your item from, and its seller, who receive your Steam trade URL so the item can be sent to you.
Steam, when you sign in.
Our hosting provider, email delivery provider and, only if you allow Analytics cookies, our analytics provider. They process data on our instructions.
Authorities, where the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal data and do not use it for advertising.

5. Transfers outside the UK and EEA

Some of our providers process data outside the UK or the European Economic Area. Where they do, we rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses (with the UK addendum) to protect it.

6. How long we keep it

Account data is kept while your account is open and deleted when you delete your account, except the records below.
Orders, payments and wallet records: 6 years, for accounting.
Verification documents: 5 years after your account is closed, for anti-money-laundering rules.
Contact form messages and support emails: up to 3 years.

7. Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, a portable copy, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests.
You can export your data or delete your account yourself under Settings, Privacy & Data.
For anything else, write to support@skinmeister.pro. We answer within one month.
You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or the data protection authority where you live.

9. Children

SkinMeister is not for anyone under 18. If we learn that we hold data about a child, we delete it and close the account.

10. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, we do not store card numbers, and access to personal data is limited to the people who need it to run SkinMeister. No system is completely secure.

11. Changes

We post any change to this policy here with a new "Last updated" date. If we have your email address we tell you about important changes.
